Today is your day to explore the fascinating city of Kathmandu at your own pace. You can visit historic sites, stroll through vibrant markets, or simply enjoy the local vibe. The walking time is about 2 to 3 hours, giving you a gentle introduction to the surroundings. After your day of exploration, return to your comfortable hotel, where you’ll find a relaxing atmosphere and another delightful meal included.

You will fly from Kathmandu to Juphal, a small airport in the Dolpo region. On arrival, your trek begins with a gradual descent to Dunai, the administrative centre of Dolpa district. You will spend the night in a lodge in Dunai.

Prepare for an exciting day as you board a flight to Juphal. From there, set off on a wonderful 3 hour trek to Dunai, where your journey begins. The walk will introduce you to the captivating landscapes of Lower Dolpa. Rest and rejuvenate in a lodge where a full meal awaits, providing the perfect end to your day of exploration.

The trek will take approximately 6 to 7 hours, during which you will experience the local way of life and stunning scenery. Upon arrival in Chhepka, you will be welcomed by a cozy lodge where you can enjoy a warm and comforting atmosphere and a delicious full meal featuring regional flavors. This experience immerses you in the unique charm of Lower Dolpa, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

You will trek to Jharana Waterfall. The trail will take approximately 5 to 6 hours and guide you through enchanting landscapes. You will witness the mesmerizing beauty of the waterfall, a natural wonder surrounded by the serene ambiance of Lower Dolpa. As you traverse the trails, immerse yourself in the sounds of nature and the joy of exploration. At the end of the day, you will arrive at your lodge where a delicious full meal awaits, providing the perfect conclusion to your adventure-filled day.

On day 7 of your journey, you will trek to the Tibetan village of Ringmo. You will walk through captivating landscapes for about 5 to 6 hours and discover the cultural richness of the region. The unique charm and traditions of the Tibetan village will welcome you. You can immerse yourself in the local way of life as you explore the village. The day ends with a stay in a lodge and a full meal, allowing you to enjoy the experiences of the day in Lower Dolpa.

On the 8th day, you have the opportunity to explore the sacred Phoksundo Lake and the serene Tshowa Gompa. This day promises awe-inspiring views and cultural wonders. There is no specified walking time, so you can take your time and fully appreciate the beauty of these sacred sites. Trek back to Chepka village following the trails of Lower Dolpa on day 9. This return adventure will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. As you walk, you can reflect on the experiences of the past days and enjoy the changing landscapes. The trek concludes upon reaching Chepka Village, where a lodge is available to provide a comfortable night’s rest. You can indulge in a full meal while reminiscing about the wonders of Lower Dolpa.

On the tenth day of your trekking adventure, you will return to where it all began – Juphal. Allow approximately 6 to 7 hours for this final leg of your journey, retracing the familiar trails of Lower Dolpa. This trek provides an opportunity to reflect on the incredible landscapes and experiences you have encountered throughout the adventure. Upon arrival in Juphal, you will check into your familiar lodge, where a warm atmosphere awaits. Celebrate the successful completion of your trek and the memories created along the way with a satisfying meal.

Your trek concludes and you begin your journey back home. You will take a scenic flight from Juphal to Nepalgunj, enjoying panoramic views of the landscapes below. From Nepalgunj, you will take another flight back to Kathmandu, completing the loop. Although there is no specific walking time mentioned for today, the day involves travel and transitions.
